NaVOBA has always endeavored to be an integral and collaborative partner in an ecosystem of organizations that strive to help US Military Veterans achieve post-military prosperity through entrepreneurship. Our Board of Directors seats are held by complementary partners, including the National Veterans Institute for Procurement (VIP). 

We’re honored to work alongside our VIP partners to launch the VIP Corporate development program to train Certified Veteran’s Business Enterprises® to compete for contracts with NaVOBA’s Corporate Allies.

VIP Corporate offers sponsorship opportunities in support of continuing the VIP Corporate class for fifty (50) Veteran-Owned businesses. See below.

Background

Making a Difference

Since 2009, The National Veteran Institute for Procurement (VIP) has trained over 3,000 Service-Disabled and Veteran-Owned small businesses nationwide on how to enter and scale in the federal sector.

Funded and Supported

The current VIP program is funded by the Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce Foundation and underwritten by corporate sponsorships from Lockheed Martin and grants from U.S. Small Business Administration and the State of Maryland.

No-Cost Certification

The program is NO COST to Veteran’s Business Enterprises® for the 2-day, 27-hour certification training, including lodging and meals.

Ever-Growing

With the support of NaVOBA and its partners, VIP is excited to expand the program to Veterans wanting to enter or scale in the commercial sector.

Proven Methodology

The new course uses the proven methodology that has resulted in VIP graduates receiving more than $55 billion contract awards in the last 15 years.
