  • What types of services do you offer?

Kings Creek Services is a Veteran-owned consultancy firm helping manufacturers succeed in DoD sales. We provide market research, procurement guidance, compliance support and help connect manufacturers with military end users to ensure mission-ready solutions reach the field.

  • Who do you primarily serve?

We serve manufacturers like South-Tek Systems, Secure Glass, and Stertil-Koni, military end users seeking solutions, and trusted integrators who help streamline procurement and logistics.

  • When and how did you start your business?

As former Marines, we started Kings Creek Services to help peers get quality equipment quickly and fairly. What began as helping a few friends navigate procurement evolved into a business bridging the language and knowledge gap between manufacturers, end users and procurement professionals.

  • What challenges did you face when starting your business?

Finding where we fit in the process took time. We knew we did not want to add unnecessary markup but also could not give away our expertise for free. We also learned to be selective about which manufacturers and integrators we partner with—choosing only those who truly stand behind their products and share the same values.

  • What has been the key to your business's success?

Listening to the customer and showing up for them—whether or not we’re part of the opportunity. Building trust by doing the right thing, not just the profitable thing, has been key to our growth and reputation.

  • What important lessons have you learned that can help others succeed in business?

Stay true to your values and do not chase every opportunity. Learning that there is a time to say no. Listen deeply to what customers need and always help others, even when there’s no immediate gain—trust is built over time through consistent actions and true relationships.

  • What common mistakes should they be aware of and avoid?

Don’t pigeonhole yourself into a business model that doesn’t fit. Do not fall in love with your plan. We thought we needed to sell products like other businesses but realized our real value was in bridging communication and knowledge gaps and guiding the process—not in being a traditional distributor.

  • What else would you like the NaVOBA community to know about you and your business?

We’re incredibly grateful for the manufacturers who believed in us early on—South-Tek Systems, Secure Glass, Stertil-Koni and SSI. Their support helped us grow Kings Creek Services the right way. We’re proud to be part of the Veteran-owned business community and always happy to help others navigating this space.
